The Leader in Spanish Immersion Early Education® Announces First Development in the Raleigh Area

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Tierra Encantada, the Leader in Spanish Immersion Early Education®, has signed a development agreement that will bring the brand to North Carolina for the first time. The newest development will introduce Tierra Encantada’s premium early education model to the Raleigh market, offering families its unique combination of Spanish immersion, play-based STEAM learning, globally inspired scratch-made meals, and purposefully designed learning environments.

The move marks Tierra Encantada’s entry into Raleigh, a fast-growing market with strong demand from families and continued economic growth. According to Wake County Economic Development, the Raleigh metro consistently ranks among the most competitive metros in the nation and is recognized as a top place to live, work, and grow a business.

“Raleigh is an exciting market that aligns well with our long-term growth strategy and our mission to provide families with an exceptional early education experience,” said Kristen Denzer, Founder and CEO. “We continue to see strong demand from parents seeking innovative, high-quality childcare and preschool options, and we’re thrilled to bring Tierra Encantada’s proven model to North Carolina.”

Unlike traditional childcare providers, Tierra Encantada offers a premium educational experience designed to support cognitive, social-emotional, and bilingual development during a child’s most formative years. The brand’s proprietary approach combines Spanish immersion, play-based STEAM education, nutritious scratch-made meals, and thoughtfully designed classrooms that encourage exploration and discovery.

The Raleigh development reflects Tierra Encantada’s continued momentum as the brand expands its footprint across the United States. With centers open and in development nationwide, the company remains focused on partnering with qualified franchisees who are passionate about delivering high-quality early education while making a lasting impact in their communities.

“Bringing Tierra Encantada to North Carolina represents an exciting opportunity to expand access to high-quality early childhood education in a growing and vibrant market,” said Karen Garrett, Director of Franchise Development. “We’re thrilled to introduce our unique Spanish immersion model to Raleigh families and look forward to helping children build the confidence, language skills, and strong educational foundation that will support their success for years to come.”
